Combine snowshoeing in Park City with a relaxing soak at Utah’s famous Homestead Crater. This private 5–6 hour winter excursion is the perfect way to experience two very different sides of Utah in one day—from snowy mountain trails to a warm geothermal spring hidden inside a natural limestone cave.
We’ll pick you up at your Park City hotel and begin with our two-hour guided local snowshoe tour. Explore snow-covered mountain trails with your local guide while enjoying beautiful winter scenery and learning about the area.
After snowshoeing, we’ll stop at a local restaurant where you can enjoy lunch on your own before continuing to Homestead Crater in Midway, approximately 30 minutes from Park City. Along the way, your guide will share local stories, history, and plenty of Utah humor.
At Homestead Crater, you’ll have time to relax in the 91–94°F geothermal spring inside the famous 55-foot-deep limestone formation. You can relax in the soaking area or, if you’re feeling adventurous, grab a life jacket and float in the deeper water. The crater is also used for scuba diving.
Changing rooms and lockers are available at Homestead Crater, and you can leave extra clothing and gear safely with your driver while you’re enjoying the water.
After your soak, we’ll drive you back to Park City, completing a unique snowshoeing and hot springs experience in Utah.
